The SoberCircle Guy’s Blog

Just a man trying to run a social networking community

About February 9, 2008

My name is Chris.  I am the developer of SoberCircle.com, the world’s largest online recovery community for those suffering from various addictions.  In addition to SoberCircle, I have worked with a number of other projects in the U.S. and Europe.  My most recent endeavor include serving as a special consultant for a website that helps European doctors network with one another which was purchased by Roche in December of 2007.   I also serve as a consultant for the Caldera project, an online database that tracks the world’s most important geological findings.

I started designing websites and various web applications in 1994.  I worked primarily as a developer of applications up until the completion of SoberCircle.  Since its completion, I have worked more as a community guardian/guru and less as an actual programmer.  I am learning more everyday about the social aspects of the web and how powerful social networking truly is.
